disc prolapse
The diaphragm is a muscular partition between the chest and abdomen. It is the most important respiratory muscle and plays a crucial role in breathing. During inhalation, the diaphragm contracts and pulls downwards, expanding the chest cavity and drawing air into the lungs. During exhalation, the diaphragm relaxes and returns to its resting position, shrinking the chest cavity and expelling air from the lungs.
