The extensor carpi ulnaris is a muscle located in the forearm. It originates from the lateral epicondyle of the humerus and inserts into the base of the fifth metacarpal bone. The extensor carpi ulnaris primarily functions to extend and adduct the wrist joint, moving the hand towards the little finger side of the forearm.
