The extensor digiti minimi is a muscle located in the forearm. It originates from the lateral epicondyle of the humerus and inserts into the dorsal digital expansion of the little finger. The extensor digiti minimi primarily functions to extend the metacarpophalangeal joint and the proximal and distal interphalangeal joints of the little finger.
