disc prolapse
The pectoralis minor is a narrow muscle in the chest area. It runs from the third to the fifth costal cartilage to the coracoid process of the scapula. Its main function is to pull the scapula down and forward, which leads to a lowering and forward movement of the shoulder. In addition, it is involved in stabilizing the shoulder and plays a role in respiratory mechanics, particularly in raising the upper ribs during inspiration.
