disc prolapse
Tarsal tunnel syndrome is a condition in which the tibial nerve becomes trapped in the foot, causing pain, numbness, and tingling. This is similar to carpal tunnel syndrome in the wrist. Treatment includes rest, wearing orthotics, physical therapy, and in severe cases, possibly surgery to relieve pressure on the nerve.
Causes/Description:
Overuse, nerve compression, foot anatomy

disc prolapse
Tennis elbow, also called lateral epicondylitis, occurs due to repetitive strain and overuse of the tendon attachments to the elbow. Sporting activities such as tennis can promote this.

Treatment for tarsal tunnel syndrome may include rest and physical therapy exercises to strengthen the foot muscles. In severe cases, an injection of corticosteroids or surgery to relieve pressure on the tibial nerve may be necessary. An orthopedist or foot surgeon can determine the best course of action.
disc prolapse
Tarsal tunnel syndrome, which is similar to carpal tunnel syndrome, was studied in more detail in the 20th century. It affects the foot and can cause pain and loss of sensitivity. The exact identification and study of this syndrome took place in modern medicine. Treatment may include conservative measures such as shoe modifications and orthotics or, in some cases, surgical decompression.
